agreed 100%!!!!!!!

Viva is right near hwy 7 and Woodbine (beside the Costco) you can't miss it in a building "complex" to the right of the Costco...you should see the bouncers and the cars (only ones in the parking lot that late @ nite...(if you take woodbine North all the way off the 404 it's on your right)

Viva is on the South-East corner of Woodbine and Hwy 7 .. rite across the street from Country Style

8261 Woodbine Ave.
Markham, Ontario
905.948.9339

btw. Scott Stubs is gonna be there Fri. Jan 18, 2002

and we should be thankful that there IS trance in TO .. 90% of the other cities in N.America don't even know such music exists ! atleast this ain't the boonies !

and tru a lotta ppl here are still stuck up with Top 40 and all that.. but thatz reality what can you do. I know one thing forsure, a lotta old primary school friends who were top 40 most get into the trance and underground scene once college hits .. itz just a natural thing to break away and find ur niche after a while. i guess we juss found ours early ... :]

btw. here's a map for those who really dunno their way around the city..

Don't worry ppl ... this crapp happens alot. Whenever ppl ask me what muzuk I like and I tell them straight up "TRANCE !!!" If they disagree with my passion for trance ... then I can diss them and give them the finger !!! *** What really makes things strange .. is when 1 of those ppl how give me a dirty look when mention trance to them ... they are ones who loved trance when it was popular !!! ***

It's really sick how ppl in Toronto are such bandwagon jumpers. Afew years ago it was trance that was popular, now it's Techno,Progressive and Funky Breaks. Most ppl don't even know who are the major headliners in the other genre of muzuk !!! I mention 1 name and they just JUMP right in and say they are wicked !!! It's freakin' LAME !!!
We're not in highschool so therefore ... why follow the crowd ?
Be the person you are inside and listen to the muzuk you "LOVE" without being a shame of it !!! WHO GIVES A FU%K !!!

These are my picks for the other genre which I like alot.

true man, but still its something, even if people like progressive, techno and funky breakz :) still something, but ya they just know the tunez and who the artist is or dj, dont have a clue...and ya when u metion a name there like YA HE'S SICK/COOL, even though u said about some chEEze dj/artist like Darude, dont know know him, coz they only listen to what the radio plays, which is total chEEze and their like ITS UNDERGROUND hehehe :o we tranceaddicts that listen to underground know what chEEze and underground is :)

So who's planning on going to Viva this Friday? Maybe a bunch of us could hook up before, and go...

(I'm kinda short on Trance-Loving Friends... :( )

So who's into a big night out for TA's ?

I AM in highschool, but I've never really been one to care about what other people think. I go to school, pump my beats in the parking lot on lunch, and don't care about anyone there.

Funny story actually, today my buddy was in his car pumping some eurodanec cheese from his AMAZING system. so i parked next to him in my ford P.O.S. and turned up ralphie b - massive from my cheesy little speakers. when every1 standing around heard what was coming out of my car, they made him turn off the radio so that they can hear my "new" song. It was kinda funny, seeing all the little gino's enjoying trance. Then one of them said the funniest thing to me...."hey, is that the new ian van dahl track?". i just drove off laughing my silly ass off. lol

yea .. we should all feel proud that we listen to trance. cuz atleast with GOOD trance u gotta go around and LOOK for it .. wells atleast in this city. can't juss swallow it down cuz it comez straight outta TV. so think of urselves as more musically 'intellectual' since ur open and willing to try listening to other things. I find that a lotta ppl who don't like trance juss simply don't have the pantience for it .. hey their loss! but whatever the case .. don't let the fact that someone else doesn't like this stuff or that itz not popular bother you.. i mean itz not even worth the thought.

One thing that I find hilarious is how ignorant most people are when they associate trance music with euro (gino beats). I always get a laught out of that, but what can you do. In a way I happy that trance is underground, this way they don't overkill quailty tracks on the radio until the point of exhaustion.

People that completely bash the genre are basing their opinions after hearing just one or two cheesy tracks. Since electronic music sounds very different from the more "popular" types of music, you can pretty much conclude that these people are just too narrow-minded. That's what I usually say to people (don't necessarily give them the finger like Galvatron though, hehe :D)
