You guys are lucky! Here in North York people are really off! They ask me what i listen to and when i tell them "TRANCE!" they ask me what the hell it is :mad: I feel like punching their face!:whip:
I play my music LOUD anywhere :) and to the people that don't like it "Fu&k off!". My school is filled with punkasses and rappers but i make sure they hear what i listen to :D What really surprised me...most of them actually liked what they heard:p

I don't know if "not knowing what Trance is" deserves a punch in the face, lol :P I mean, it's not music that everyone gets to listen to everyday.. and about the rappers, a lot of them listen to that stuff because it makes them feel like they have this "punkass attitude", which is plain irritating *shudders* (but there are definitely those that enjoy rap for what it is) |

naw!!! I wouldn't agree with the North York comment S_girl. I live in North York too....and I never face that problem. Maybe only with the older people...and I'm talking over 40+ old people. I think everyone pretty much knows what it is..unless they're from another country I find. They know the music...but label it Techno, or Dance. That's the only difference...it bugs me, yeah, when they call it that. But I always enjoy educating the massive about "MY MUSIC". Show them that Trance luvers aren't squeegee kids..cause that's what they all think.
I inform them...and enjoy it. |

Squeegee huh? In my school they label you as a freaking stoner!
And DjStylez you're right...people can't tell the difference between trance and techno but either way many people have no clue what trance is..at least the ones i've asked:confused:
I wish it would all stop being so underground and play some videos on tv...i mean what the heck' man there are some ppl out there that've had enough of this rap ! |

Hey, Brampton ain't that bad. I have a few friends that live up there and they're neither thugs, rock-ons or little ginos, lol.. mind you there isn't much to do there :p |

Does anyone know of any radio station that plays trance and techno?
I personally got sick of kiss 92 and z103.5..you guys know what i'm talking about!:D Those ppl are freakin' obsessed with freestyle and it drives me nuts! Please help!:(

The only place u can turn to is the NET S_girl. And as much as the gino community annoys me.....believe it or not...they're the only ones supporting my internet show...and station right now. I play a hell of alot of TRANCE.....and they seem to love it. The only downside is that I have to play alot of Euro....simply because they're the ones tuning in ...and calling up. I've posted on this board a gazillion times, over the past year, before I had to re-register because they messed up my membership here. I would love to see more TA's showing support to another fellow TA by tuning in for a few hrs, most of u are on the net on a Sunday night anyways. I want to play more TRANCE....but the audience isn't there to support it. Nevertheless...I still play a fair amount of Trance throughout the show.
