I came back from this interview I had lined up doing overnight security at a Sierra Suites hotel. I went in there dressed neatly, nice dress shoes, a nice sweater over a white polo shirt, and the northface jacket i usually wear. Americans must have some sort of disposition to acting like corporate s..from the moment I walked into that place, even the in front desk receptionist acted like a snobby goody good. I noticed that most of the people in that place all had this false sense of "professionalism" with a hint of stick up their ass and a dash of im actin nice to ur face but i really think ur a in douchebag lol. I got interviewed by this worthless AZN guy who was 4 foot nothing, filled out a shiload of apps, but its as if i was sabotaged from the start. I dont even think they were gonna consider me for some reason from the get, I mean it's as if they just let me go through the process just to be nice to me, and not say , we're not gonna hire u haha. Have any of you ever gone through this type of feeling... was whack. Not only did I get interviewed by that first guy, then he made me wait like 20 minutes for his boss...and he proved to be the biggest Lumberg cocksuck, guy asked me question after question, but before i could even complete answering the first question, he'd be on the next, as if he didnt even care what i was saying. Then I got the usual, "we'll keep in touch". I dunno, I'm used to not getting hired in certain situations, but that was such a low blow to treat someone like that, and as i was walkin out he was smiling to some other worker at the desk, like just to rub it in. Any of you ever gotten turned down this bad?

Have you ever considered how you come off? In your whole statement, you insult Asians, Americans, and make petty assumptions. Maybe you were the one sending off the bad vibes. To address your question: No I haven't been turned down like that.

well I will say that maybe I came off a bit sketchy in that I'm softspoken, I should definitely be louder in my ways, especially at invterviews..the azn guy looked scared like he was bout to get a beatdown at the front entrance, all I did was look em in the eye and said hi haha, i thought that was the highlight of the whole thing. This guy was so short, I felt like king kong.

i think it's funny you got that from a security job hehehe...

but why are you applying for a security job? are you a cop? maybe you just are not the type of person they would consider hiring for that position because you have no experience in the area?

Nou slow down ******, if u dont have any incite as to the situation, shut ur clap. I obviously wasnt racist in my ways at the invterview, why dont u have some in common sense and realize no one goes into an interview spewing hey u in spic, ******, etc ....use logic next time. I was polite, nothing more nothing less.

If your demeanor in real life is anywhere near your demeanor on TA, then I am in no way suprised that you didn't get the job...

FYI junior.... Sport jacket and dress pants are the minimum requirement for an interview.... sweater and golf shirts don't cut it in a professional environment.

It doesnt matter what my demeanor is, I can act fake and polite with the best of them. No one can judge u off the bat who u are as a person, but the first impression does count..i dunno, oh well, theres other jobs..just found so many Lumberg lookalikes, its almost as if Office Space was based off those types hehe. Man guy had his mug in his hand while he was talkin to me! >_<

This was a hotel chain overnight security job. The guy who interviewed me was wearing sweatpants ...and the other guy was dressed worst than me... I wasnt going for a CEO spot. If i felt it was necessary to get that dressed, I would have, but this wasnt the case. NOw that I think about it, I shouldnt of rocked the michellin man jacket :tongue2
