The moment the A-side stepped off the pitch (varsity), my friend Kellie would crack open a bottle of Coca-Cola, dump out half of it, fill the rest with Jack Daniels, and we'd start drinking while the young-ins duked it out for 1-2 more games. We'd go through 2-3 bottles like that pre-drink up. :) Then came the beer - I recall scoring my first try while playing 8-man and having to shoot the boot waaaay more than the required once but finding myself on the ride home in the backseat of my car with my arms around two friends, a Burger King crown on my head, and a King Cobra 40-oz in my hand still.
There are many, many drinking stories from rugby, lol. It wouldn't be rugby without them!
Drink, drank, drunk - I was drunk last night, I was drunk the night before, and tonight I'm gonna get drunk like I've never been drunk before. :p |

I scored my first try in my first game. i was at guv the night before stayed to the end went to a house party after till 9am then straight to my game at 10 am i was high as a kite and my pupils were ing huge. It was so ing scary out there! |
