there should definitely be a section for the middle east on this forum....
the scene is growing so much here, n there are already so many users on TA from all over the middle east to participate in it, and many more will join once we will have this section...
thanks ABKOM for startin this post..

yup its finally happening .. a middle eastern section :) yipeeee
let me say something .. im lebanese and have lived in kuwait most of my life .. and never knew wat lebanon had to offer .. not until my first event back in 2003 with Sasha! Thats when i finally moved to my country .. to my hometown! Lebanon has definatelly been put on the worlds clubbing map with all the events that have been taking place.
This year, i got to discover alot more about the clubbing scene, not only in Lebanon, but Jordan and the whole middle east too with the forum i discovered ( www.lebaneseravers.com ) .
iv been to so many quality events .. events where i also met people coming from europe and all over the world to attend. events like Tiesto's (although not a fan watsoever) which gathered 15,000 people .. and it was only his 1st visit! Other events such as Distant Heat with Armin in the deserts of Wadi Rum in Jordan. That was one of the most magical experiances iv had in my life!
The Middle East is growing slowly international.. .. were here .. we've been seen and spotted .. and now were showing the whole world wat we are really all about!! |

I myself am new to the EDM scene in Lebanon. I started listening to EDM because of the people that were only talking about it, because of the many events that took place and finally because of the lovely people.
From the day I joined till now, the scene is growing and will arrive at its peak soon! The old people are transmitting what they know to the new comers and so on. It’s full of educated people that will give anything to the scene.

| The EDM scene is surely flourishing in Lebanon and the Middle East, which is very exciting, and think will bring about to a brighter future to global clubbers/ravers, while perhaps contributing to the divesity of EDM!! |

Lebanon is packed with history, archaeology, natural beauty and a handsome population of fun-loving people whose hospitality and warmth extends the length and breadth of the country.
Seems to be quite intresting to have a section dedicated to the middle east scene. On the other hand Ian is right in a way ... opening a section for the middle east would also push into opening other sub sections for different areas, countries.. it might defragment the spirit of the unity when the whole is broken down to sub sections....but still if such a section would be open it would be just to promote raves and parties and to post the party reviews... that would be a good perspective section...focus on the middle east ....

If you read the rules, you would have noticed that no matter what the scene is like, you have to get over 100 (I think) active posting members who are residents of that area. Then get a rollcall/poll or soemthign to prove you have that number.
AND THEN, go to Swamper and say "hey, we have the numbers, can we geta subsection?"
Just rocking up and demanding a section won't get you anything. |
