As I were saying in the Israeli forum,
Middle east should not be considered as a country
nor it should be as a region.
The way I see it, the whole area can be one of 3 big continents
Europe, Asia and Africa.
The reason Israel is a part of Europe is just because that's what is happening in life, in soccer and more aspects.
(Although Geographically speaking we are a part of Asia)
As I said, I don't mind Israel having a
Middle East section before it (instead of Europe)
But that still doesn't change the fact that there are no 20 active users from Lebanon (and starting to register ppl that will be in training and evantually maybe disappear... It smells funny)
But hey, I don't want to start another war with you guys, and if you'll get your forum I'll be more than happy for you. |

Yes that's very true DjChook , but the forum's structure is already divided into regions rather than continents... which excludes the middle east :S

well... i dont see any problem with isreal bieng under the middle east section...but concerning your way of defining continents... i agree to abkom's point that the middle east is excluded. besides as the guys mentioned before.. the rave scene in lebanon has developed to a large scale over the past years and i think that this country/region (what ever you want to call it) deserves some credit starting with intiating a middle-eastern section for all ravers all over the middle east and world wide express their views about their relative rave scene.. not only i would consider this to be a good step towards the middle east but also a great acheivement towards the EDM INDUSTRY proving how it has even touched the middle east as well... were not here to discuss politics.. were here to discuss how music unites us together, hope you keep that in mind

hey guys
first of all my name is ilan and im almost 23 years old from israel
i must say your idea is nice and i can't see any reason why not supporting it
i wanna welcome all the lebanonian members here and tell them i hope to visit beirut one day - i can only say i've heard its beautiful i can also see that great dj's are coming over to play over there...i think its a dream for me to being able to catch these gigs that happen there..maybe one day it will be possible but till then i think that the best we can do is unite behind this idea
you have my support!
i hope to see more people like you with idiology like you guys after all...we are all people and i dont wanna judge people just because they believe in different things from a few thousand of years ago... (yeah i really hate what believers of different religions have done to this beautiful world for thousands of years) |

gys just to refresh... lebanon has been pumping with events recently.... its on monthly basis... 3 dj's per month atleast...
we have jhon digweed playing this february as well as many others such as carl cox and above and beyond.
the scene is improving year after year.
we cant be underestimated.

Such a forum would quickly descend into a rotten cesspool of anger and political bickering. Anyone would be hardpressed to find genuine 'scene info' (what little there probably is) in all the crap.
Besides Swamper hasn't added anything new to the site since 1978. If you really want your own forum maybe you should talk to this guy. |

What i dont get it how media can make stuff look the way they want! try to look deeper than the surface! if you log on to house-pacifique.com and listen to the interviews with tiesto or max graham or read interviews with any major djs like ferry, tiesto, armin van buuren and listen to thier feadback about the middel east and lebanon specificly you will know what i am talking about... so before you start throwing lame assumptions try to be learned a little more...
one last thing... how dare you "in all the crap"! even though my ethnic back round isent from the middel east i wont tollerate such non-scence! but what can i say, other than please go back to unni, collage, even elementery... start off from somewhere... its never too late! |
