good luck to everyone trying to put something positive in. there'd better be a lovely thriving scene next time i come visiting ;) of course, you could all do your bit for growing the tassie scene too by coming to visit every 6 months ;)
Teflon_Teapot
how about you move to melbourne and stop this nonsense once and for all?
Dr P
Maybe we should listen to Paulie.

He liked trance and now seems to frequent house venues. What attracts him to house

:conf:
Paulie
Here it is Dr.P

I go dr.P, cause i get to dress up, i get to go to packed venues, where i dont necessarily know everyone in the place, i get to dance and put up a sweat. Its about vibe, numbers, the quality of your crowd...I aint going to be going to events where little gimps like skoom and co. are let in...Im 23 ffs, as much as i hate to admit the crowd does influence me and my mates, and the kind of night were having...Dont get me wrong the music counts as well, but considering most of us are sheep, if you can get the other stuff right, the music matters less and less. Hard Trance and this Nrg has a lot to do with where the state of trance is atm imo. Take nothing away from the music, but like it or not it has affected the music scene and alienated the normal punter...

You know Paulie I though you'd say something like that.

You are 100% right though.

There you go Scottie thats what the scene needs. I have no idea how you would build it up. Good luck.

Another thing is that you want to go somewhere your friends will all enjoy, dont get me wrong but i dont think trance music is like that for many people.

House and RnB are the mainstream with the hits being plastered all over commercial radio. Thats another big reason their respective club scenes thrive.
