On the flipside, blaming mike harris for all the ills of the next 25 years.

they have been around for a few years but it wont die.

Gino buttoned down striped shirts. I cant stand them. Every idiot in a club wears them.

Also:

Any male item of clothing with pink in it. Ok the pink dress shirt was a start years ago. But now you have the pink button down shirts with floral and wavey patterns! Shopping now sometimes feels like being in my mother's closet!

And FCUK... I like FCUK but in the past it was way better. Now they have way too many gino shirts and not many of the cool shirts they used to carry. I have to look online in england for those now. Damn ginos, why did they have to discover FCUK in Canada and ruin it?

The trend for TOTA massive thread wars over topics that get blown outta proportion and ppl are arguing about that wasn't even really the original focus.

The tendancy for many of us all to get so bend out of shape so easily and make a competition or pissing match somehow.

uggs were gay before 05..but I guess they really got gay here this year.

The latest trend for boots(in the last couple months) is big FURY boots.

I dont mind this trend as much cause I think they look much better then uggs.

The livestrong bracelet although for a good cause just became uber trendwhore bull.

popped collars has also been gay before 05 but it did make somewhat of a comeback this year. sad.

id say the biggest lame fad of the year is POKER making it bigtime. I enjoy playing it and have done so online (from time to time) for years but being on ing tv 24/7 and ing loser kids getting together playing it everyday dressing up like the homos do on tv(with ghey clothes, hats, glasses etc) is so annoying and stupid.

It's not the "worst" trend of 2005 but I got sick of seeing those mini cardigans with all the glitter around the neck area (sort of like shrugs).Every store I went to I saw them! All the sales people wore them!

Uggs and pointy shoes look sexy on women... well, not all women but that's not the point. :) When I was in Hong Kong late 2004 pointy shoes were quite the rage. But those were ultra ing long like gondolas. Now those suck but the regular pointy ones look nice. Especially when paired with nice jeans.

The trends I disliked the most would have to be the whole iPod thing and live strong bracelets.

Poker's been around forever, but one of the trends that really shot up in 2005 was online gambling. :wtf: Terrible trend if you ask me.

i'm confused by this whole pointy shoe thing of which you people speak? how is this a trend? are we referring to pointy high heels, which have been around for a very long time, and not just this year, or what?
