I would tend to disagree with that. The AK-47 is a cost effective and arguably the most used assault rifle in the world. Sure, it is no where near as accurate as say the Steyr Aug or M16, but it will always fire! It can be covered is mud, wet, whatever but it will always fire a round, something that can't be said about the Aug or M16.
As for this 16 year carrying one: outright ridiculous. It's scary to think that 17 year olds have more fire power then regular law enforcement, crazy!:crazy: |

You are entirely correct. The AK is reliable, accurate and cheap to buy. Its one of the best assault rifles in the world.
I just hate it because I kept getting pwned by 11 year old bastards who always got headshots on me back in the day when I played counter-strike.
Its been a few years, but im still bitter.
Now check out the possible future of assualt rifles. This could be the one which replaces the current M16 and M4 rifles in the US army.

I always saved up lots of cash during a few rounds, then one round I bought all the top gear and best weapons. Thinking I was gunna kick some serious ass!
About 30 seconds into that round, I turn the corner and some ass sqeezes off one round of his damn AK and gives me an instant headshot.. without me ever getting a chance to react. BAH!
Then lets not forget the AWM camping whores. :whip:
