but yeah! ... it's extremely easy to get a hold of an AK if u really wanted one.. it's about coming up with the $$. So if you have the $$ it's really a cinch. even a collapsable banana clip one :eyes:

guns laws usually only hurt the legal & responsible gun owners. but something has to get done. it just takes one person to start the ball rolling. hopefully we'll hear alot more mother's have the courage to do what this one did. I hate it when parents do not have the courage and admit when their kid is doing something wrong. I guess cause they think it means they're admitting to their failure as parents...but not in all cases..especially when it concerns teenagers-young adults. Peer-pressure plays a bigger role than most people are willing to admit!

makes u think how many more 17yr olds with AK-47s are out there

:nervous:

I really wanna know what the kid wanted an AK47 in the first place.

Good on mom for doing this though.

AK47 is weapon for noobs (and conscripts). I'd take any M16 series rifle over AK47 anyday.

What?
Teenage behaviour is not completely attributed to parenting, you know.

But the parents should be a primary factor in influencing teen behaviour. If they don't know what's going on with their kid, what good are they as a parent and a leader?

Absolutely correct but as a parent you should take a little responsibilty. And yes, that is exactly what this mother did!

today is the bail hearing i think and the mother has no intentions of bailing him out..damn..this mother deserves an award (seriously)

i dont htink any other parent would report their kid in such a situation

I'd tell the kid we were heading to Disney Land, and happen to make a stop at the Don Jail on the way...
