| Yea I just got back from the 10pm showing and that was easily the goriest, most disgusting, putrid movie I have ever seen that somehow ended up being very well done and surpringly left me and most the crowd satisfied. If you have the stomach, go see it now. |

| well its probably better than that dragon ball Z movie where they reuse clips for 50 % of the movie and power up for 25 % of the movie, then talk for the other 24 % of it. The last 1 % are for credits |

It's one of his stupid "Tarantino PRESENTS..." movies. Somehow he gets his name on so many movies these days that he has little or nothing to do with.
This movie certainly gives a bad name to and a very inaccurate portrayal of hostels. ;) |

dont hate on tarantino... he was the executive producer for the film and helped eli roth (director) touch it up a bit in post-production. and the reason for the "presents" thing is to gain more publicity. over the last 10 years he's gained a lot of faim for making great, boundary-pushing movies that are loved my the masses and by stamping his name on there, it helps draw more people to the film.
btw as exec producer, you literally have power over the director, so even though he didnt write it nor did he direct it, he did play a good role in its making. |
