this is a dr phil question which i have know idea what is the "correct" answer. obviously my gut instinct would be to tell him but, he might not believe you even if he knows its true and could end up messing up ur friendship. It doesnt sound like its a coinsidence that this is the 2nd time he's been cheated on. He must be attracted to this type of girl so in the long run he is doomed to repeat this scenario with another girl, so maybe you should just let things run their course.

well i made the assumption that overall, she "seemed" like a normal or nice person and i also assumed that since he is your best friend, that you were probably close friends with the wife too. so i thought that a confrontation WITH PROOF to her might help her think, "oh , i could lose him, i better get my together" and like i said, maybe there would have been a chance that she completely broke down and said that the affair was over and that she felt horrible and was never going to cheat again...in which case, u would not say anything for the sake of your friend's feelings and also for the sake of his marriage (on the assumption that she would follow through and they'd actually lead a nice, healthy marriage after her eye opening talk with you).
wishful thinking. if she's a lying bitch, then just tell your friend. especially if he was considering divorcing her earlier.
he just doesn't know how to pick them i guess. |

Yeah, they started dating after I moved to Dallas, so I never got to know her that well.
The wierd thing is that both of these two girls are completely different from each other on the outside both physically and emotionally. But this one really is a pathological liar, I just amazes me. |

| I agree with lunasea... chances are if you confront the wife first, your friend might think that she holds higher priority then he does, which is total bollocks. If you two have another mutual friend that you are really close with maybe it is a good idea that you meet up and have a heart to heart with him, but like moral said, if you have some evidence... Man, you got yourself into a sticky web. The only other thing i could think of is if you know his parents and talked to them about it and asked them for advice. good luck! |
