If it makes you feel any better I'm on a rec basketball team with a few of my buddies and we are 0-6. Last week we played the other 0-5 team and got beat by 30 points.
On the brightside our team name is David Hasselhoff. |

I can say with pride that I chose our team name. It was really only because the rest of the guys sucked at coming up with names, so I made them pay.
Our jerseys are red sleeveless shirts that say "The Hoff" in huge block letters.
We play the first place team tomorrow night. The spirit of The Hoff will lead us to victory!! |

So I do all that and get to the gym, still about 30 minutes before the game. Walk down to the basketball courts and I'm feeling like a swell guy. Go to the first court and don't see any of the guys, so I walk to the second court.
I see my team getting blown out by 30 with 9 minutes to go in the second half. One of the guys calls time-out and comes running over to me and says "Man, get in there; I'm going to puke." I'm not feeling so swell anymore.
Man, I hate when I let people down. It's been a long time since I've done something boneheaded like that.

Eckerd's was bought out by CVS when Jack Eckerd passed away a few years back. Are you sure it wasn't CVS? |

Yeah, it's an Eckerd I just double-checked. That's weird. I don't like CVS too much, they bought the small independent pharmacy that I worked in as a teen and closed it down. *shakes fist* |

sly is true in a way.
the 100% transition from eckard's to cvs probably hasn't reached mr ygrene's hometown yet. i remember it took a while to change my local eckard's to cvs. |
