CD 1 of his Miami '05 double CD is sweet...CD 2 is a bit boring. I've also always liked a lot of the coldharbour stuff he's done though.
He's playing here in philly on thursday, I'm very excited...it's gonna be a good time. |

| To sum up this thread. Markus has been around for a long time. Some people prefer his productions and style pre-2000, while others have discovered him after that point. He is given alot of credit for pioneering a new sound in trance. And I for one love it and am a huge fan. His live shows do have alot more bangin tracks than his typical GDJB sets. But he always maintains the dark deep vibe. |

| global dj broadcast is a great mix show for casual listening and relaxing, it has a dark brooding progressive breaks sound to it (usually), which is excellent for listening to at home or in traffic, but in the clubs those 1-2 minute long transitions totally kill the party atmosphere. i wish he would mix more elements instead of breaking a song down to it's bare beat for a minute then building that beat into another track... |

i love him live, he really really knows how to build up a set. Ive seen him open for armin a few times and play in a festival atmosphere, all those times he has kept me moving.
but then again, his style falls right on top of what I like, and I don't think many others that have poste din this thread can say that. |

i have seen him twice, once in vegas and i couldn't really get into his set but then he said he wasn't really feeling it either and that wasn't a typical set and then i saw him NYE at spundae which he basically opened up and just ripped through everyone! a really great set, high energy and the floor was packed with crazy energy from him. i thought he had the second best set of the night, after jOOf of course :tongue2 |

| used to like him in 04...now i think he has lost the plot a bit...certain tracks on his GDJB show he plays them over n over n over n over...3 months down the line he stills plays some of the same tracks... |
