nah man, you think he was buying? he was w/ the owner of the restaurant's cuz. not sure what he was eating, i tried not to be THAT big of a stalker!!
and it wasn't all that big of a deal, i agree w/ clovis, just make ONE person's night, y'know? b/c it totally turned me off that he said, "that's not cool". what's "not cool" was his answer to my question! |

| tiesto is a big fag, hes always been like that, ive heard liek from 4 different peeps i know how he denys pics...like teh clovsha said other djs who are better and way cooler than him will stop and chat and take pics just because they know it makes a fan happy...for christ sakes i have 5 different pics with sander and everytime i swear he knows its me but hes cool and talks to me cause he knows it actually means something to a huge fan like me...same with jz, ferry, danny howells, all of them have taken tiem out to chat it up and take various pics and actually smile and look happy in them so not liek there thinking oh man this kid...tiesto is a gay homo mutantwank...i wish that he would go back to whatever alien planet he is from lol... |

I just dont understand how you can do that to someone who is supporting you. I can't see myself (if I were a big DJ) saying no to someone. Even if I looked bad...my hair was ed up...who cares? Its the opportunity to make someone happy. Make their day.
I'll concede that if you're being mobbed by 50 people who all want X CD signed and their picture taken in 20 different poses, yeah I might get anoyed...but one guy in a restaurant...come on!
Zabs got MOBBED after Monday Night Social on the sidewalk out front...but he stuck around and signed/posed/talked/chatted anyway. Thats why hes the in man...same with guys like Ferry. |
Wow I totlay agree with you there Clovis.
You have to keep in Mind that even "Superstars" want to have a quiet meal with no interuptions from Fans.
I also agree that over the years Tiesto personality twords the fans has changed a lot!
He used to sign autographs, take pictures with Fans and stick around to talk to people.
During his sets he would look out to the crowd and smile a lot and have more interaction with everyone. Now... he dosn't do that... he hardly smiles and sometimes he does a dorky dance but that is it. I could be Screaming my head off and doing the normal stuff I do and he dosn't even know I am even there.
I think over the years Tiesto has lost something.. I still think he is very passionate about what he does.. But he lost the idea of those who got him to the # 1 in the first place.. |

Okay so I wasn't going to post this story, but after seeing this I feel I need to.
I met Tiesto on Saturday when flying from MIA to LAX. I was walking to my gate and when I looked down I saw him on the phone and said:
Me: Tiesto..?
Tiesto: *looks up* Yeah! *Shakes my hand*
Me: Where are you going?
Tiesto: Los Angeles
Me: Cool, so I guess I'll see you on the plane then?
Tiesto: Yeah! I'm on the phone now though so..
Me: Okay, carry on. I'll see you on the plane.
Tiesto: Okay.
So as I'm walking through first class, Tiesto notices me, smiles and gives me a thumbs up.
Me: Hey, can you sign my headphones when we get to LA?
Tiesto: Sure
Me: Awesome, can you wait for me at the gate?
Tiesto: Okay.
So I slowly make my way to my seat and basically for 5 hours stare out the window praying the plane doesn't crash. Once the plane finally landed I went to look for him, we ended up at the baggage claim thingy and talked about everything from the weather to trance for about 20-30 minutes. One thing that really stuck was when I asked him about Sasha - Belfunk (Matthew Dekay Mix) and told him I really liked it, he told me that he had also been playing a Leama & Moor song that was remixed by Matthew Dekay. I wasn't sure what the song was so he basically danced and sang the breakdown of song so that I could recognize it, this was totally great because it showed me he still had the passion for the music. You really can't do that unless you care. The song was Leama & Moor - Everything Matters (Matthew Dekay Remix) by the way.
Anyway so after he found his luggage I asked him if I could take a picture with him and he said yes and then that was that. He went to get his car to go wherever he was going.
So I hope this lets you guys see that he may not be all that bad after all. |

Yeah pretty true.
As much as it sucks though, you pretty much forfeit the right to a quiet meal in public when you go for the spotlight. Especially someone as egotistical as Tiesto. |
