Just curious ... anyone other than me here on TA going to vote for the Green Party? I am a big fan. Too bad they won't win, but every vote increases their funding. I am also very angry that my Greens weren't allowed to participate in the debate, even though they own 4.5% of national vote from last election, 5th highest (expected to grow this year).

Their platform is commendable but I don't think enough people view them as credible enough not to be considered a "wasted vote".

i hav no doubt that these guys hav very good intentions .. it's just too bad that not enuff ppl take them seriously.. there were 2 guys the other day at Don Mills station canvassing and ppl juss flat out ignored them
hav to commend them for their efforts tho .. atleast they're showing that they care for something
i'd vote Natural Law party if they were still around.. remember them !!

The problem with the Green Party is not the platform - the problem is that the candidates that they have running are inexperienced, ineffective and often inarticulate.
If the Green Party wants to be taken more seriously they need to improve their candidate roster/credentials significantly. |
