Gonna post info about what I have when I get home, I worked it out though that I've spent over £17,000 on vinyl since 1998, me thats scary :-(

Just got home from work now, god damn roadworks!!!! :whip:
I've got at present over 2,800 vinyls in my house, almost all of which you can view @ www.discogs.com/user/simcut
I have a total of 16,011 mp3s totalling 167.2gb
I've got somewhere in the region of a total of 500 CD's & tapes too
you could say I like my music, lol.... :-) |

| Its so unorganized I'll never know until I take the time and sort it all out. I have no cataloging software or anything like that to help me keep track. My friend says to use Itunes but I'm skeptical of anything to do with that. I'm guessing 100GB+ or so. |

The best organizer of MP3s is your windows browser itself. Using a program like Flash Renamer to batch rename files/tags and using folders/subfolders to organize artists/albums is far better than any catologuing software such as iTunes. iTunes creates a virtual organization of your music that looks good when you use iTunes, but really your tunes are all jam packed in the same ty folders they were initially downloaded to. And when you properly organize your tunes and name them properly through the windows browser, using iTunes will be a simple click of a button and there are your tunes all organized by artist/album etc. |
