random facts about me:

* I get irritated when I hear the word "ya'll"
* I never heard of Austin Powers until Austin Powers II came out
* The only reason why I applied to the college I eventually went to was to spite my parents
* I nearly drowned when I was 6 and as a result, can't go into bodies of water that are deeper that 4 feet
* I learned to type with the Dvorak keyboard while I was bored at work last year

I was supposed to be in the past olympics. I had been in Olympic training from 1991-2002.

I freak out if the kitchen is dirty.

I always wash whites with colours.

I literally, cannot have anyone drive my car. I get a panic attack.

And I get sick unless I'm driving or I'm in the passenger seat.

I learned to read spontaneously before anyone tried to teach me, when I was only three years old.

Same. I still remember the book I learned with too...Panda Bear's Paintbox. Or was is Aesop's Fables? I read more than I did anything else as a kid.

I was the only kid who could read when I entered kindergarten at age 4, and by the time I reached Grade 5, I had already finished the readers at the 8th grade level. I got to do fun science projects and teach art to the primaries for the next three years instead of having to do English.
Enrichment classes were some of the best times of my elementary school life!

Gold star AND a cookie for me!

I own every single Nine Inch Nails cd, and I listen to every single one of them all the time. Out of my daily listenings, NIN is probably 80% of what I listen to a day, or more. It has been for years.

Awesome! I love the new album...mad respect to Trent Reznor for changing his outlook on life.

Pretty Hate Machine is still my fave though. And have you ever seen those crazy in videos with all the torture and stuff??

Haha, my best friend is the same way. In fact, that's what started our friendship. We had our CD on special order, and the day the new album came out we just laid in her room and listened to it all day. That's all we did, all day. And I think it's amazing. You can tell the difference between his older music when he was heavily into drugs and the stuff he has now. In a way though, I think the songs on the new album hit deeper BECAUSE of the changes he made in his life. "Right Where It Belongs" rattles me sometimes... I just can't get over the way that song makes me feel. My favourite album is a tie between Downward Spiral and the Fragile.

All videos that have to do with Trent are crazy. That's why I love him. :clown:

Totally! It takes a courageous man to put himself out there and be vulnerable like that. Not a lot of people can admit they need to make changes in their lives, to themselves, let alone the public.

The night I was born it was -40°c out. Also, my body temperature rarely gets above 96°F unless I'm quite sick. Some weird people have also started the rumor that I'm cold-hearted. Conspiracy? You decide.
