I was listening to that very song just as I read this. :wtf:
And I totally agree - this song gives me chills it's so meaningful. NIN is definitely one of the better-sounding bands when they're live. You can tell when Trent is in front of thousands of people, what he says is absolutely genuine and that he is so attuned with his own music, with every lyric he says he is remembering *exactly* why he wrote the song in the first place.
Such a rare and beautiful thing anymore. :( |

Same. I still remember the book I learned with too...Panda Bear's Paintbox. Or was is Aesop's Fables? I read more than I did anything else as a kid.
I was the only kid who could read when I entered kindergarten at age 4, and by the time I reached Grade 5, I had already finished the readers at the 8th grade level. I got to do fun science projects and teach art to the primaries for the next three years instead of having to do English.
Enrichment classes were some of the best times of my elementary school life!
Gold star AND a cookie for me!

Perhaps standardization is truly a myth, and the curriculum inherent to the modern educational process is deeply involved with making the target believe that he or she is quite a bit more intellectually advanced than their peers.
Perhaps... |

I was in enrichment math all through school. In grade 8, I participated in a competition with several thousands of other kids, some from University, and I won 91st place. :)
That was the only picture I had in my grade 8 year book... under the "Gauss math team". LOL!!
