Now this is really interesting.
Skinny Puppy is a musical group that more or less pioneered the industrial scene in the late 1980s.
The picture from my sig is featured in the music video which I linked to, and is a scene from the Dario Argento horror movie 'Opera'. The music video is composed of horrific scenes that were censored from American-released horror movies, as a statement for censorship and the subsequent violence thereof characterizing western society.
I could go further in-depth, but I believe that Skinny Puppy's music speaks for itself in that it offers a very unique viewpoint of our society, and leaves much to be inferred by the listener. |
