it's not HE, it's THEY. They are a trio.
and yes they suck. Basicly they've always sucked more or less. But during the last 5 years they've sucked more than ever. Tunes like Weekend and Jigga Jigga make's one want to vomit on the radio.
They are also famous for ripping of and ruining classics such as Zyon's No Fate, Push's Strange World among others.
The only decent way to listen to Scooter is to listen to some few good remixes. Such as Scooter - I'm Raving (Taucher Remix) and Endless Summer (Datura Remix) |

Scooter - Rhapsody In E<---:eyes: Released in 94, probably one of the best rave song from this good old time
Scooter - Hyper Hyper
Scooter - No Fate (Trance Mix)<---but the original "Zyon - No Fate" is much better...

I used to be a big fan of them 10 years back but the more time went by the worse they got until they turned into total crap in the late 90s and even deeper into it they have gone ever since.
Their take on Zyon's No Fate is horrible except for Trance Mix which ditches HP's vocals and ends up being an OK version. For the most part all their main single tracks haven't been anything to talk about but the instrumental b-sides like Rhapsody In E, Across The Sky,.. and various album tracks like a nice d'n'b track Tonight are a different story, and i'm talking mainly about pre '98 material here, not any of their more recent stuff. Some of the old tracks are still great and their debute album ..And The Beat Goes On! is by far their best. |

I still like them. They've brought out some good B-sides. I really like the sound of their song Trance-Atlantic.
And I really like the old remixes of their songs. the Move Your Ass! (Ultra-Sonic Remix), and the Datura Remix
of Endless Summer is very good. It's even better that the Datura remix gets rid of the chipmunk vocals and turns
them into woman's vocals! ;)
Their Ratty stuff's really something though. I love the Ratty Remix of Ron Van Den Beuken's Timeless! |
