How Come No One Will Admit To Global Warming?

| Hello? Its very obvious its occuring. I understand its a big payoff from the companies contaminating the environment but for s sake can we get an agreement already by the time im 80 summer will be year round. and summer summer will have temps of like 120 F |

| I know! it's been unseasonably warm here. The lowest it gets is around 25 or 30, and it's been getting up in the mid to later 40s, even 50s, lately. There's no snow either. We should be in the 20s and 10s and even single digits right now (as the highs) with a good 2 or 3 inches of snow on average. We've not even gotten an inch. We had a bunch of snow for a few weeks and it wasn't even winter, but now that it's winter it feels like early spring or fall...and it's only January... |

same its hit 74 last week in my car's temperature while the sun was behind the clouds! |

The earth has been warming up ever since the last ice age.
The debate is what is causing earth to warm itself up.

it kinda depends on how you look at it. going through records of climate change through the earth's history there have been periods where it has been much hotter and it changes like cycles of ice ages and warmer periods. the big issue (imo) is that are humans causing it to get warmer than it normally would be, i think its kinda hard to say each way. the level of pollution, carbon dioxide and monoxide etc is higher than ever but is the last 50- 100 years relevant in terms of what has happened to the planet? |

A lot of people do admit this. In fact the majority of scientists and world leaders do admit this. You're just trapped in a country where those who are the loudest happen to have an interest in keeping the conclusion in doubt.

Yeah, but local drops in temperature is quite consistent with global warming. (Hence the "global"). Didn't you see "The Day after Tomorrow"?;) |

I agree, we've had a drier than average but colder than average winter, which was late starting (was lovely until the end of nov) then plumetted down and still below freezing now. |

just to add
was in mallorca (Balearics) in december & they said it was their coldest winter in over 20 years, and in the canaries Lanzarote had a month full of rain (they usually have 340 dry days a year) |
