wow. just left 10 minutes ago (it's about 6 now)... what an epic, epic set- one of the best live sets i've ever heard in my life... sick hard deep progressive beats mixed with bangin electro, all with a touch of deep trance
unreal.

bottom line: march 31st will be hands down THE night of the year for progressive house. |

I consider myself a huge Sasha fan, and tonight was by far the worst I have ever heard from him. His programing was horrible, the light coordination was terrible, it was ridiculously crowded for a majority of the night with the 18 and under crowd. Sasha hardly looked up from the computer.
The only good thing about the night was seeing friends I haven't seen in awhile, making sal take pictures of the guidos and having groundhog boy hump my leg.
Honestly i don't see how you can say tonight was a very memorable night. I have seen sasha 30-40 times over the course of my clubbing years and tonight was one of the worst nights i have seen him. I could understand if you met a girl for the first time tonight or were really intoxicated, that could have made the night amazing, but it was definitely not the music or the crowd. In any case im glad someone had a good night.
Time to go wash the fake tan that rubbed off on me from the shirtless guidos. Did i mention the lights sucked? |

An absolute disaster. I enjoyed the music for the first 30 minutes and then the same "doof-doof-doof" bassline came in and stayed throughout the next 5 hours. The tracks were all over the place... 1 deep house, then 1 electro, then a sudden melodic one... then just as you're enjoying a nice melody it goes back to boring old electro... same thing over and over. Transitions were uncreative, sounded almost like fades and even trainwrecks sometimes. It was disappointing to say the least... and frustrating, and annoying, and sad. It was just horribly, horribly BORING.
Sasha's on probation... he gets no more chances from me until I hear something spectacular... bye bye Sasha...
Nice hanging out with everyone and to meet the Groundhog finally. :) Only good part of the night. Left at 5:30 but shouldn't have even stayed that long. |

As already mentioned his flow was kind of nonexistent....Just when you thought he'd found his pace he'd totally change it up...He was much better in Boston and New York last June...He definitely had an off night but it was a fun night overrall minus the guido fest.
I do wish that I stayed till he dropped Schiller - Ruhe (Humate Mix)....
I also heard Tiefschwarz - Warning Siren (Cass and Mangan Mix)
any other spots? |

damn sorry you guys didn't have fun, i've seen sasha about 25 times in my life and i really thought he was quality- would you perhaps prefer a full set of electro, or a full set of deep trance, etc? The fact that he mixed gendres is what did it for me.
also i was up in the mez so i didn't deal with the meatheads... so maybe that's why i enjoyed it so much more- it was really spacious up there! :p |

i had to leave at 5 with amdmaxx cuz my feet were killing me and i didn't wanna wait til 9am to get zeh bus home.
agree with miss bliss and fr0st. worst i ever saw sasha. good to hang out with the TAs.. groundhog, fr0st, miss bliss, amdmaxx, CHEWBAKA!! (holy ! arnie was there!!!!), shamez, trancehater, alex pearce, dj_lord was somewhere around there, trunks, barosoap and a few random others i saw that i can't remember atm..
oh and on top of that, i couldn't believe i got groped multiple times @ crobar. wtf, i was in a zip up jacket and jeans and def. not seeking attention. :wtf: so many ing n00bs coming up to me, grabbing my hands and trying to dance with me :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: goddamnit! wow, 18+ at crobar is -1 for me.
