Ok. I've read this thread thoroughly and I have come up with the solutions.
If all the females here would put a eh hot sexy man-babe in their sig, I dunno Brad Pitt's or sumpin (ey...henkie henk a while ago had a sig with a half naked brad pitt init) of course in an artistic way (this means - paste some trance vocals over the pic) then you'll attract more females thus restoring the TA balance. When there are as much half naked dudes here as half naked women I'm sure the guys will be annoyed enough to get rid of their sexy sign if the women will also.

i guess this is true, tho i really dont think most females are attracted to those types as much as guys think they do. no one i know really goes for that look at all.

hahah... i actually thought about this but didnt post it. im sure if girls posted lots of naked men pictures the guys would be disgusted by it :p

yea, i agree people are drawn to looks. no doubt about that, people who say that dont look at looks at all are lying :p
and me in a bikini? ha! i doubt thatll ever happen. i have biomechanical huge tattoos over a large portion of my body, so i think it would look kinda strange, me being in something girly like that heh |

I'd say "go for it" but I think too many people already have too many doubt about me :p Though wasn't there once a "post cute pics of guys" thread (I dunno... never clicked on it!) which died a quick death.
You're totally correct though, I'm a great example of double standards coz the girl who sits next to me at work has Brad Pitt all over her desk and the first thing I think when I get to work in the morning is "for gods sake get his nipples away from me". As another example of double standards though, if I put up a bikini calender on my desk I'd probably face a disiplinary so it works both ways :D.
Take a look in this thread from the polls section though, not every guy goes for the blonde hourglass (ignore the 23.08% at the bottome :D). I think the pressure women feel they're under to look good comes as much from other women(and themselves) as it does men. |

the pressure comes from the media, the TV and magazines. and then the girls repeat it to each other, and emphasize by dressing that way in the bars and clubs and stuff. you know what I find interesting? you look on the cover of a mens magazine(maxim), what do you see? A "hot" woman. You look on the cover of a womens magazine(cosmo) what do you see? ALSO, a "hot" woman.
or what they call hot anyway. personally, I don't listen to what other people say, i'm my own person, and I like what I like. I'm not influenced by the trends(or at least I like to think i'm not), or pressured into dressing or looking a certain way. for example, I used to be into marilyn manson, but I didn't get myself pierced and start wearing makeup! now, I'm into raves and trance, but I don't wear phat pants and suck on soothers!
I wear the same green pants to work, to the moshpit, and to the dancefloor.
and you know who is to blame for all this? not just the media. also all the silly women lapping it up, buying cosmo and watching jenny jones. they tell the media that's what they want, by voting with their dollars.
