heh.. im kinda scared to post those again.
there was a thread a few months ago asking what kind of piercings people had, and so i responded with pictures of my strange piercings and i think even my leg tats (i just got a whole backpiece)... and man, everyone responded talking about how gross and scary they were :( so it kinda makes me not want to post them again. :(
i had hoped people would have been all diverse on here but yea, i got 98% negative comments on mine :/ and its something im really passionate about, so i dont like reading 20 people telling me how disgusting i am for having them, yanno?
heh.. so help convince me :) |

At first, think about the whole spirit of our music... that makes U break free of all these common every-day, 4-the-masses rules of listening to EVERYTHING others say... sometimes it's time to rebel... as long as it is not stupid...
second, ppl are curious... about Ur new stuff and all... so.. please satisfy our curiosity... PLEEEEEEZE!!!

but in that thread, seriously.. the most anyone had ever had done was like, a tongue piercing. i had thought it would be a lot more diverse, and yanno, i dont listen to what people say about me normally, but having 20 people tell me my artwork, what i think is beauty, is disgusting and gross? that really sucks. ive always been fascinated with biomechanical things and cyborgs.. which is why i try my best to look like one. its part of my life, yanno? and if no one on here is open minded and tells me im disgusting, i dont want to hear that.

^^ those are my legs, a foot high on the outside of the top of the leg. got those started when i turned 18 3 years ago.
i just got this one started a month ago, 3 years later..

^^ these are REALLY REALLY HORRIBLE PICTURES...(ha you can see my neck piercing in one) another 5 hour session a week ago. you guys cant tell how beautiful its going to look... there is going to be skin up around the top and way more detail etc.
basically its a biomechanical spine. the bottom is plating with mechanical vertabrae, its external, and wraps around to my sides. it then goes into my back, and becomes bone.. thats why theres skin around the top cuz its pulled back. i still have a good 10 hours left to go or more.. making gigerish shading takes many sessions.
eh, so there you go.
now please, in all respect for something which i am really passionate about.. if you are going to respond with any of the following adjectives: nasty, disgusting, gross, or anything related, please just hit the back button. i get tired of hearing it.. and this is what i consider beautiful. |

Ok what constitutes offensive stuff here girls? It seems like a age old battle of the sexes that in my mind shouldn't be an issue at all. I believe males on the whole love the female form. It's in our blood, a harmless worship of beauty!
I do think some of the stuff up on TA has gotten a bit out of hand and definitely gone overboard so i'm already agreeing with you here sothis. As Robbie said it should be artistic and a lot of it just ain't.
But since no ones gonna change it's gonna continue and life will go on and the next generation will grow up and argue about the same issues of sexual equality, discrimination and disparity on their direct feed NET jacked directly into their brains neural pathway. I don't even want to think about what TA will look like then LOL

LOL. I just knew somebody would jump at that invitation.
I rarely post pics of myself as I'm currently suffering from a curse, which means that everytime a picture is taken of me it includes something nasty as well (e.g. drunk friends) or, alternatively, something interesting is happening just a little to the left of the camera, resulting in me starring with a open mouth. Maybe I'll post one again in the next picture-thread. |

By the way, I think your beautiful, a lot more attractive than most of these bimbo's in peoples signatures. :)
personally, I would never get a tattoo or piercing, I like my body the way it came(plus i don't really like pain either, i'm a wimp :)).
But I think they look great on other people. I'm a big fan of HR Giger? Geiger? i forget how to spell his name, but his artwork rocks. And the tattoos look really good on you, probably even better when they are done. I hope you will post more pictures when they are finished.. :rolleyes:
don't worry about other people.. sometimes it's the negative ones that post, but you must not let that get you down. there could be a lot of people just to lazy to hit the post button. don't censor yourself for anyone.
