Tiga I believe is a poser. For sure I'll get "n00bed" and "stfu'd" for saying that, but whatever, my opinion.

:gsmile:

tiga is a pop star....
but without tiga, i dont think the edm scene here would be what it is...
he was one of the first to have enough balls to throw a party.
The local government wasnt to thrilled to have these events back then...
hence the 24 hour before disclosure rule for all parties.

i could have lived without his video where he is some kinda gay cop with men in leather and mustaches everywhere though:haha:
Lopitrance
Fair enough.

Musically speaking, not influence...

He jacked his style, 99%.

Tiga has too many good productions to name, the guy is a remixing legend

He's with amonly, if you guys know DJ agents amonly is ING HUGE, the biggest in NA...
Lopitrance
Perhaps.

I still think he's a hack.

Well I will be seeing Mateo on the 17th with Speedy J & Greg Gow but it is true he doesn't seem to play out here much anymore.

Doesn't mean you don't hear a lot of his productions out there though ;)
Enjoy

How can anyone actually say Tiga ??

Have u had a listen to his latest prodution ??

Am i the only one to hear that it's LITERALLY the same things over and over and over and over again. Not only does he constantly produces the same song, he also has near to zero creativity ? His two biggest record were covers ?? and the remixes of those covers were by far better than what tiga had done.

Max Graham is not from Montreal

Oh yeah and if someone says Misstress Barbara i'm going to shot the Fcuk out of him/her ( 'cause it'll probably be skiper anyway )

So here's my pick

#1 Fred Everything, BY FAR the best producer to come out of montreal.
#2 Preach, he's a very very very very talented producer and an even better dj
#3 Mateo Murphy, he's a really good producer he's a good dj ( although he's the most BORING dj ever to have live )

I will give a special metion to Marco G, not only because he is my friend but mostly because i've heard some of the stuff that will be released in a couple of months, stuff that he produced, and believe it'll be big !

By the way, am I the only one to see that All the good producer/dj in Montreal has to go outside the city to get some recognition ?? ( well other than preach that is )

I agree with your remarks about tiga, but the same can be said for most electro style musique. You cannot say he has done nothing but promote this city to the world.
