One record doesn't really make me think of his productions as diverse when he's got so many others. |

Well then I suggest you listen to the ones I mentioned earlier. He has plenty that don’t have the same ‘sound’. This isn’t even to mention other recent releases like his remix of Oil & Vinegar on Hey! or his release on Noise Music to name a few. He definitely has at least a few releases per month it seems, but on a wide range of labels.
Someone like Cave has one sound. |

i agree with skipper, last year i had way too many releases out! in fact, its a reason why in the next years the releases under my dj name will slow down to have more impact. if u would see my archive of the last 4 years i had over 40 releases out under preach / other collabs and aliases... its not so much comparing to oliver lieb (god)but for me its quite alot of work :S
objectively i think they definately have ALOT in common but they are not all the same!! i will invite you for a few hours listening session in my studio so you can hear what im talking about here ;)
anyway... im off topic!
the edm producers i like the most in mtl are:
- mateo murphy for all his disco and his co-productions!!
- miche & sultan especially for stef vezina, love her voice
- jason christopher
the edm producers in canada i think deserves BIG respects are:
- richie hawtin (plastik man classic, he designed a new sound!)
- teknobrat (its taking time but people will understand soon)
- max graham (my fav years were 2000-2003 i have those records in my collection forever)
- patrick dsp!!
- second sun (i saw them live they really do something good)
my worldwide best edm producers are:
1- oliver lieb (god named him L.S.G)
2- BT
3- junkie xl
i may have forgot many names... |

But I am happy to hear you will slow down a bit... to be honest I can't keep up with all your releases.. and then I see remixes out of nowhere every other week!
