What do u think about those?
Does it shows arrogance, like your track isn't worth listening or does it show a lack of time to listen to all of them?
Imo the labels interest should be to listen to all of the tracks becuase they want to sign new stuff.

well as u may know lables get tons of demos everyday !!!
its hard to reply everything so i guess they pick the most interesting emails...(i.e track title ,artist name)

I once tried a local label that advertised in the local paper for local producers.
Considering they actually advertised. No reply is pure rudeness.
nb. I saw them selling off their equipment on ebay this week. Big label they are :haha: |

that is basically how it works. no reply means no. and when you get a reply it doesn't mean yes :P
almost every label replies though from my experience. |

Maybe you shouldnt be so sure...if they dont reply its prolly cus they dont want it signed. Labels get tons of demo tracks sent to them each day, you cant expect them to reply every email...it simple, either they want you in and then u get an answer or they dont want anything to do with ur track in that case u get no answer.
dont expect any feedback from them...thats what these forums are for. |

...and even if you get a yes it doesn't necessarily mean yes.

The typical "to Listen to" demo pile at a label (even a fairly small one) is huge, and there is only so much manpower to handle it. Unless you're big enough to be able o aford to pay for an employee's whole to handle it, it's just aout unmanageable.
Be pepared to wait though too. You certainly won't get a response in under a month unless you are both very lucky, and very good. |

But how did I get an answer from Saw Recordings in two weeks and in the last time that I sent something I got an answer from somatic sense in like week and a half?
I mean it shows something about the label?
