I feel really bad for you guys being dissapointed with Mauro..its really a shame because the night before in Montreal @ Aria, he not only killed it but he played an extra 3 effin hours for a total of a 6 hour set, and closed aria. It just sucks that it might have been our fault that Mauro didn't play as well as he did, cuz our vibe kept him at aria for 3 extra hours.
I wouldn't bash the guy though, he was sick after all, with the flu, and he is a solid dj. |

I dunno, this was the 3rd of 4th time I've seen him...and each time he was boring as hell from start to finish. I seriously think he played the same track the entire time he spun...each time I saw him... |

eeeesh...well that sucks!
he does have a different style, when i saw him back in 2002 he was all techno , and in 2004 still techno then on friday at aria..he was all over the place, I also think the intimacy of aria compared to the guv is a big difference, not only for the dj but for the crowd...
i find it cool that you still go to see him even after you didn't love the first time

It was mostly b/c there were other DJs at the Guv that I wanted to see. I would definatly not go out of my way to see him...but ah well. Different tastes...I'm not a huge techno fan to begin with. |

i guess its time to write my review lol. Its not that i dont have a ton to say....the thought of typing it all just makes me say ' mmmmm maybe later'. besides, i know u can all telepathically receive my thought bursts of gratitude:PThe night was amaaaaaaaaaaazing. Like many of u, one of the best nights out if not the best. i looove when koolhaus is open. jem! what a damn surprise it was to see u!!! so much time was spent on convincing u when all along,,,,,,

The atmosphere was incredible. i dont think i got one dirty look while pushing through the crowds! Seemed everyone was there to spend the night facing the dj doing their thing which is just awesome.
Stephus!!! man, u have no idea how happy i am that u come out with us!! hehe im pretty sure i saw u discover some dance moves u didnt know u had:P rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. hehe. vlad, ur lucky i found u because u either forgot where we were supposed to meet for 'mind of the wonderful' or u remembered the sound of my 'singing' voice from last time and decided '....maybe next time' lol. did u record our duo on ur phone?? if u did, i would love to hear it!! anyway . i could go on forever.

Who ever produced that track should be shot...b/c it's nothing but the same thing on repeat for 15 minutes. |

Actually my friend who attended his set at Aria described the kind of tunes Picotto was playing and I'm pretty sure he played pretty much the same here...When it comes down to it, The guvernment and its crowd is not really the venue for him anymore...Montreal has much better support for the minimal I'm guessing....:) Opinions are opinions.. |

| does anyone know the ENTIRE tracklist on JXL!!!! it was amazing!!! all i know is talk was on their but there were some there that were UNNNNNREAL! must have...a lot with sum guitar breakdowns that were great and a lot of male vocal stuff ....seriously anyone know any of the tracks??? |
