maybe that's because Australia is in Southern Hemisphere and right now it is summer there? so moving to florida will not be the same:) well, just a guess:D:D |
I was talking about Melbourne, FL duh.

Its actually a little interesting, Jason, because my top two choices for schools are also my top two choices for TA's. |
well, i can see where me and Iowa State stand. :(
wise choice, tho. not only does ISU's meteor program not that great [and the state of Iowa is even worse], but by the time you'd get here, i'd be outta here - so Ames would be even +more+ boring than it already is. haha |

:( I know, but CA is just not an option for me right now.
You have to admit, Colorado is pretty sweet. Skiing and storm chasing all in one state. What else can I ask for... |

Ang, you'd probably find our wx patterns quite boring.
Every now and then a hurricane down by mexico sends us some rain, or we get leftovers of a system that hits SF or Seattle.
Other than that, high pressure systems for most of the year...lots of sun. Air Quality (smog/pollution) is the only thing to watch.... |

| Yeah, I know enough about West Coast weather to be completely bored by it. Thats why I love the Midwest, theres always something to chase!!! (Unless the year is 2005...) |

| I made the mistake of going into Graduate school right out of a 4 year college. I wasnt ready to be responsible and get a real job so I figured, hey another 2 years sounds good. I was wrong, I hated it and got so burned out that it was pathetic. I only finished 1 year and then stopped. I know you're just looking for places to go but make sure it is something you really want to do and have a passion for and you're not just doing it out of convenience. The amount of work involved will suck all your free time, so you have to really love what you are studying. |
