Here's a couple pics of my setup, its simple but effective for a software based setup. I still have to sound proof the room a bit, but since my loft covers this room on all sides (expect outside) its actually pretty good.

-Logic Studio
-Ableton 7
-Apogee Duet
-Oxygen 8
-KRK VXT 6's
DJ

They use a DJM800 unless the 92 is requested I think... |

pretty fancy custom wooden shelf. What ever works, I guess lol.
Last time i was in calgary, my dj table was 2 kitchen cubord tops, with a kictchen counter screwed on top of them. Pretty ghetto, but worked.

lol.....yeah, thats the setup I used to use with the Technics 10 years ago and I found it worked perfectly. When I got back into DJing again, and was using both Tech's and CDJ's, it was still a great setup. So I naturally thought it would work great for the production side, expecting to have several peices of hardware in use. It's kinda bare right now since I'm strictly software, although I do see a larger MIDI controller and digital mixing board as the need arises.......so I'll leave it as is.... |
