Plus wouldn't you feel weird facing the wall all the time? I'd put mine next to windows so I would at least have something to look at during the 2 minute breakdowns.

I think it's more of a "space" issue than a "where m I gonna look at" thing. My comuter is infront of my gear, so I'm usually reading online magazine and ghey like that inbetween mixes.

when I'm at home, I'm usually playing all new cd's and cycling through them interchably, to see how they mix together...same songs over and over on the same 3-4 cd's to "get to know" any new songs. It's not like there's a crowd there to find "the perfect song" to play.

p.s. my mixer in my house has no effects ;)
