I just finished building and setting up my studio last week... so I'm proud to show it off. No DJ gear in there... just designed for music production right now ;)

(The pics are pretty large, so I'm just gonna post the links)

Thanks! Those lights are from ikea... got em for like $14 each. :D

Plus they're on dimmer switches... so I can have softer lighting depending on my mood when I'm working on music.

Still planning on hanging some pictures around the room and a large area rug to help reduce the resonance in the high frequencies.

nice work space, i like now neat everything is. yeh totally called those being ikea lights :D nothing but.

the only thing wrong in that pic is it looks that speakers may be set up a bit low? i wish i had a room to make music though, i have decent gear, but i'm in my parents living room

Actually, the desk is pretty tall... You can see the additional boxes I built under the speaker stands to A) absorb any additional vibrations and B) to bring the speakers exactly up to my ear level when I'm working. When I sit back in my chair I'm in the "sweet spot".

It's working very well so far!

the other ultimate is the playstation controller hooked up to my computer  i don't even really play video games that much, but when i do, its so much better being able to play them wish a ps controller on my pc :toothless

Very cool... nice speaker stands. That's a great idea with the foam.

I was going to go with 2 19" LCDs too... but this Gateway is more than enough for now. 21" HD widescreen with a very high res. The idea was to buy this one now and then a second when I have some more money again (*ahem* engagement rings can be expensive.. hehe). I like gaming down there too... so this was the best option. Also has S-video inputs for my XBox/digital cable box :p
