wow. lots of sad comments.
thats such a horrible way to step back a foot in the scene. man i would be embarassed if i was him.
i didnt hear the promo, but can anyone tell me how many songs sound like no other songs out there? |

this is a remix album with the majority of the work coming from other artists so I don't see why everyone is getting so worked up (other than the usual bunch who just like to jump on the 'bash oakenfold' bandwagon).
Why not wait till actually hearing the new original album before throwing the first stone huh??? |

many people have already heard the promos! and its not a remix album, its an artist album! I've read somewhere that all tracks are written and produced by paul oakenfold, other artist where not mentioned!! |

there are BOTH... the artist album AND the remix of the artist album... this thread is regarding the REMIX of the artist album. :)

As mentioned this thread regards the REMIX album!
Now i certainly don't condone it, but the Album Club Sampler is readily available off the internet for download (I managed to get hold of a legit copy from ebay).
The other promo (original artist album) is not so readily available.
Now which one do you think have most/many people heard? |

| Yeah, it's true that Save The Last Trance rips completely from Blend Forty-3 (Luke Chable & Steve May Remix), but I like it a lot more. :) |

| I don't know why but I've never really liked Oakenfold. The only good track on this album in my opinion is Amsterdam (Club Mix). |

Luke Chable - Blend Forty-3 (Paul Oakenfold' Save The Last Trance For Me Mix)
It's a great remix, he brings a great sound, the only problem it's that he does not credit Luke Chable.
I hope Oakey is going to mix trance again, that's his style, the last years he have been playing bad stuff. |
