are you talking about the set you uploaded?
cause right now i'm really into lee's current sound. i always have been, to be honest. no matter what the guy spins its always 1 step ahead of everybody else and he's always managed to play some of the most twisted, funky beats out there. i wouldn't necessarily call his current style full-on techno though; its more like minimal/tech-house, with a dose of deepness thrown in for good measure.
and i hope he plays a lot of the same stuff he's been playing in his recent sets (eg. the set you posted; or the one i posted from The Cave in Sydney; or the WMC mix). That is sex to my ears. |

P.S. I definitely consider Carl Cox 100% house music still. He's tech-house and I have been listening to several new sets from WMC's Ultra Music Festival 8. Danny Howells, Nic Fanciulli and Carl Cox have played several of the same hot tracks in the time span of 8 hours.
Labelling genres is a very sticky and touchy topic. It's just en damn good music!!! :toocool: |

Agreed fully, I just listened to his set from WMC and it's pure funky techno at it's finest. |
