Very surprised especially since he is still pushing this whole LEF concept. Tracking treasure down is certainly not loud and furious!! I was going to buy mixmag this month for Ferrys mix CD, not when i saw this on the tracklist though! Thank god he didn't play it in london earlier this month |

"Ferry, what were you thinking?" pretty much sums it up. However, I have no real interest in Ferry Corsten the DJ. I have a lot of respect for his productions, and especially that he's pushing a new, fresh trademark sound for himself after having got his money's worth out of the anthemic epic formula which he's famous for. The tracklist for the mix is a blend, including some fairly obscure stuff, so he obviously played Tracking Treasure Down because he thought it added to the set. However, it put me straight off the rest of the mix. |

i dont get the problem with the track, why say it sounds like a gameboy or whatever.. its synths.. your making fun of what every song is made out of, but is jsut placed in a different order.
its a catchy tune, to me, and we have a right to voice our opinions so of people dont like it, just let them post what they think. |

Thats a good answer. This is afterall a forum, we're supposed to be trading opinions in the first place :p
Yeah its just synths, and many people find them boring and anoying. But I dont get how people can call this "different"...like what Grrr said...its 100% pop music...catchy, simple, easy lyrics.
Its like a damn ty Britney Spears tune. |
