No they aren't. True musicians write tracks that appeal to themselves. Music is art, and art is personal expression. G&D have the right to make whatever they please, but ultimately we're the ones paying to hear it, so we have every right to voice our opinions on it. They're making their own music, and they're earning a lot of money from it. So don't try and deflect criticism by saying "think of all they've done for us". |

| G+D should release a remix of Portobello with the 'Without You' vocals like the one they spun for wmc ultra last yr |

Let me tell everyone someting funny about this TA:

its just horrible, dont know why so many people are playing it out
on sat nite markus and armin both dropped it, if hearing it once a night wasnt bad enough, had to endure listening to it twice :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: |
But she was dancing both times:D
At one point she was dancing along (knowing perfectly well what song it was) and after a few minutes she stopped dead and says "Oh what am I doing? I HATE thins song".
So obviously its got something that works for a dancefloor.
As for me, I reckon its okay, I wouldn't say its anywhere near my favourite list, but its fun. |

Amen. Seriously, this has to be one of my favorite MD posts within the last couple of months.
So, after RJT mentioned that it was on Beatport, I decided to check it out for my first time. Yes, I kept an open mind. And, yes, I do think that it makes me want to shove a fork in my ears. Disappointing track, and I don't like how they recycled the Beautiful Things clap. |
