the only feature I was looking forward to was its use of the 3D card.
now that I see it, it looks all show and no use. Media Player 11 looks like a graphical re-arrangement. Besides a graphic overhaul, it seems it can only rely on it's highly praised built-in security features.
i guess i should get it thought. Unreal Tournament 2007 requires Vista |

I totally agree. The graphics are nice, but in the end, ill turn most of that off. Not much about Vista is really appealing to me, yet I'll probably get it because Ill have to to support new applications and games. There are going to be some benefits, but in the end, it's just an MSOS.
Auto defragging? Huge graphically appealing icons? Power Settings? yay. |

All but two of those "features" were utter crap or the same thing we already have but repackaged. |

exactly...sounds like corporate propaganda to me thought those features, if they're more readily accessible, will be attractive to the average computer user |
