So by your logic, nobody should say anything negative about anything at all on public forum for fear that someone might read it and get their feelings hurt? I should just say "Good Job" and "Way to go" even when I disagree with or don't care for the details of something?

Criticism is a GOOD thing, it's how a product is refined to the point where the customer is satisfied. You don't have to agree with me, nor does anyone else, but by the same token, I don't have to agree with you or suppress my opinion on something just because you want to "play nice."
I never said anything about even one of the DJ's on the bill, in fact, earlier in the thread I mentioned how sick of a lineup I thought it was, and how lucky people who go to this event are going to be to see Suzy, Menno, and YOU. Just because I don't like how the event is setup doesn't mean I don't support the talent on the bill.

And @ Mel: There's a big difference between "hating" and expressing distaste for how an event I would have been interested in attending is organized. Perhaps you "trance" heads need to realize that just because someone expresses an opinion that just happens to be somewhat critical it doesn't mean we're "hating" on you, your music, your artist, or your events.
I don't recall ever entering this thread and saying "Boo, this sucks, this DJ is bad, etc." All I did was say I didn't care for events where there are a million (or even 22) dj's.
You guys need to lighten up in a major way. |

showcasing new talent isnt always a bad thing.. Have fun at ultra if u dont wanna see all these dj's with 1 hour slots.
anyways who cares.. Sometimes it's more than the DJ's.. it's also the vibe and all my closest friends will be attending plus many close dj friends.
i will 100% support this event.. Bring on 22 more dj's if u have too! |

You seem to be hell bent on making it seem as though I'm totally against this event, which it should be clear that I am not. I don't care for 1 hour time slots because I AM there for the music and don't care to have the vibe switched on me every hour, therefore I am choosing not to go to it. Does that mean I think it's terrible? No. Does that mean I think the DJ's performing are bad? No. Does that mean I think people who do go to this are somehow not as "good" as me? Clearly, no. Yet you seem to make me out to hate everything having to do with the event simply because of one minor criticism I made.
Maybe instead of jumping on the defensive all the time (especially here in the WMC forum) you could try to understand where people, who aren't you, are coming from.
