had an awesome day sitting at turns 1 & 2, even tho there were no crashes to speak of and only one side of my face is burnt :p
crazy weather tho, pouring one minute, sunny and clear the next, gale force winds after that.. pretty much circulated like that all day long, frucking Melb :whip: |

got a question for those that attended; when F1 cars change gears, is there an almighty \'pop\' sounding similar to a gunshot? just curious as i was quite surprised by that sound the CART cars made which isnt ever picked up by television.
i hate webber. i hope he continues to do all, then has to go somewhere like CART (which he looked down his nose at a while ago) coz he just cant cut it. |

didnt notice any noise on the up shifts, but on the down shift.... guess it'd be the engine rather than the gear box though, but then again i dunno about the mechanical side of what goes on really to that kinda depth
