um, isnt that like every track in F1 after the first 5 laps??

well i guess mostly you could say that, but overtaking still does on occasion happen
but with monaco, if you had to overtake a backmarker without them moving out of the way, it's extremely impossible
like kimi's idea yesterday for going for more fuel and starting mid pack would NOT work at all in monaco, qualifying is *critical*, the cars infront of you can be heaps slower, but there's no way of getting infront, just have to rely on them being n00bs and making a mistake sooner than later by keeping the pressure on...

hehe, yeah i know. was just pushing my tired old CART > F1 line ;) monaco is cool though coz thats where the best crashes occur :) and where murray always used to love going on and on about how those ahead of schumacher should basically pull over and let him pass :rolleyes: when he'd gotten sent to the back of the grid. haha.

that happened to coulthard didn't it a couple of years ago? i think he was stuck behind sato for half the race or something

YES, it definitely was coulthard, that's exactly the one that came to mind! but i cant remember who he was stuck behind... was a few cars, but one in particular held him up badddly
