has engine deal in place with cosworth, still has the cars from last season, has facilites and the test team.

sounds good

i took you saying that as if stoddart still had ownership of all the old minardi stuff... either way, im not gonna .. have an explosion :) hopefully it's clarified now for you with the situation, and hopefully now we can all stop bitching and arguing over poop, and start talking about the ing gp! ;)
although i guess friday practice doesnt reflect all too well what's gonna happen tommorow and sunday, but I suppose can give us some idea of the form...

*crosses fingers no more mclaren engine failures*

nah man, i just meant he is coming back to F1, they interviewed him as he made an announcment this week. he never mentioned teams, just saying he is in a position to come back to the sport. All good

No, what he said is that Stoddart has "facilities", a "test team" and "cars".

Paul Stoddart collects F1 cars, he was the one that owned and then sold the 2002 Arrows cars to Aguri for them to use this year. He apparently has quite a collection of F1 cars from over the years so he probably does still have the cars from last year floating around. He also owns a racing team in minor seires I think, so thats his facilities and drivers.

V10s may have an advantage, but i don't think its not enough to make a major difference to the results of that team. The V8s are approaching the power levels of the old V10s. I don't doubt that the V10s have a torque advantage, but if they were to take Cosworths current V8 (which I agree they should, it is quite ridiculous that they continue using restricted V10s when a suitable V8 from the saem manufacturer is available) I don't think there would be any/much difference to their results.

well the session is over (3pm)

Davidson was fastest in both sessions for Honda.

i rekon webber would do well in a demolition derby, he's got a knack for that sort of thing

ok, its 30 mins delayed here:(

Not that Fridays mean much anyway. Its an indication but you can't really take it as gospel.
