| so I got 3 tickets to this screening...supposedly gonna be a screening for 100 people from 9-10 or something and then they have a review with the audience which will be taped and aired after BSG on TV |

Yeah I didn't bother to read through this whole thread..but is this show similar to being this generation's DS9? Now, before I hear any Star Trek bashing, if you're watching this current Battlestar Galactica show, which has space fights and aliens and drama, DS9 had all of that and was ing heavenly. How can you like one and not the other? That said, I hated Babylon 5 and Andromeda. But I still have yet to see anything in the "sci fi" genre at the tv series level that has even come close to DS9 (or TNG).
So, is it as good as DS9, for those old enough to remember? |

actually this one doesn't have aliens per say. space fights...equal amount, although DS9 went of for a longer period of time i think and i personally don't think there has been anything as good as the epic battle scenes in the later seasons of DS9. there is a lot of drama though.
i'd bet that if you like ST then you'll like BSG as well. |
