Season 3 is going to be 5 years in the future, apparenlty.
Also, Ron Moore, the shows director, is speaking at GDC this month about the new Battlestar |

Hey everyone... Steve here from SWE-TA... there's no good threads really about the show but you guys seem to like it.
I have downloaded and seen every episode including the mini series and I just love the show... really dark and rough, good actors and a good story...

That's what I felt but I belive since the show seem to go pretty well they want to make the series longer and therefore they had to take a turn in the story.
Otherwise it would have been about time to finally find earth and the human race would haven't beaten up the Cylons once and for all and the series would come to an end.
I didn't like the ending and I hoped that somehow Gaius Balter would wake up from one of his bad episodes of psychotic daydreams.
I hope to see more of the mystery around the mythical so called "Earth" in the 3rd season. |

I borrowed the first season DVD pack from a friend at work and got through them in a couple of days.

Ive been meaning to take up watching this show, see whut its all about.
Seems pretty phat from the clips of it ive seen.
Always been a startrek and a stargate fan...
even that ty series w/ John Chrichton... uhm, forget its name... uber cheap looking aliens, effects, plots, et certera...
I dont seem to enjoy reading scifi novels, but seem to love the tv shows :D |
