Hahaha, the geek in me is so hyped about the series finale tonight. I'll be with fellow nerds at the SPACE CHANNEL viewing party. However, I'm still really pissed because I just learned the Fox Theatre was gonna show the finale on their huge screen in high definition and digital surround sound. They had to pull the plug because of copyright laws according to NBC, which are the owner of the SCI-FI CHANNEL.
Anyway, here's an alternate BSG nerd party for anyone who didn't get reserved seats for the SPACE CHANNEL. Man, I'm still so mad about the FOX Theatre because I would have scrapped the MuchMusic building for a cinema screening in an instant.

PressPlay, I owe you 2 beers for posting the flyer for the alt party.
I was at the space screening, (dunno if you were there), huddled in a circle, wondering "WHERE THE FRAK AM I GOING TO LOOK TO SEE THE SHOW?".
then a girl beside my sis goes "I have NEVER seen a single episode of this thing"...I chuckled initially and then made the decision to leave...went to SCC, watched it alongside many more that were geared in BSG outfits (as compared to 3 of us+ 3 others out of 100 geared up for a TV broadcasted screening)
so i missed the first 10 mins....no biggie...had a blast with a beer in hand. :)
the battle was somewhat comparable to the rescue from new caprica but showed both angles and was amazing.
I will refrain from saying anymore until the other regulars watch and comment on it.
This was truly an amazing show. cant wait to watch caprica later in april.
