the only thing that s me about events like this in australia is how they always tell the aboriginal story and always focus around this, look at us world we love the aboriginal people and embrace their past/culture.......

| The Commonwealth Games is like some 8yo inviting a bunch of 4yos and a fat kid (who really does try) around to play against them and then gloating when it wins every game. |

i dont watch much tv coz most tv is just . flimsy storylines, boring characters, medical/legal/emergency \"dramas\" merely soapies with a different finish. yuk. but every now and then a show captures my imagination and i like to tune in when i can. lost & prison break would be 2 of those.
so yeah, i agree. taking these shows off so they dont run against the olympics for underachievers is another reason i dont like the games. its all about my entertainment of course ;) |

the worst part is i didnt even know until 8.30 rolled around and i jumped on the couch for my favourite one hour of TV and it was gone
