2 - My life is worth more than theirs because instead of consuming my life with radical brainwashing, I am studying to be a doctor and intend to become a pediatrician.

1 - Americans aren't savage ? If this is true, then may I suggest you act and think like an american and quit the "Let's kill some of the innocent people to show the extremists what we can do" because that itself sounds pretty savage to me. Secondly you did say on your previous post that it wasn't a problem for you if innocent Iraqis died as an example. I'm not putting words in your mouth, I just synthetised your thoughts and what you just said (in your -2) came to confirm it.

2 - Now thats even more stupid. Basically you're saying your life is worth more than an Iraqi's because you have a higher social level, and because you have higher professionnal goals. Who do you think you are to pretend knowing how much someone else's life is worth ?

Like I said, if Americans are going to butt into their , they have to fight fire with fire and not prance around like pussies trying to be nice - these people lived their entire lives under a terror dictatorship and only know that. And thus we are not savage people, but I think the situation calls for just getting the job done and ending this already.

Do you think General Patton during the time of WWII was gonna start to talk to the Nazi soldiers and believers which were assaulting and killing people? You shoot the ****** in the head and move on to the next person.

Oh, yessssssss... thats right... France was occupied by Germany wasnt it... waving that white flag... seems like all you French people know how to do is wave a white flag and give in. How did that work out for your country? Still counting those blessing in the morning in French?
Lepanto
france has pretty much never won a war, so including them in an alliance or even considering that is just plain stupid.

We are not in the second world war anymore, and I'm pretty sure nobody wants to go back to those times. Besides, none of those innocent Iraqi people we are talking about would want to kill people. I'm pretty sure all they wish is to leave in peace. Iraqis are not all extremists, and the civils don't go around "assaulting and killing people" like those Nazi soldiers you talk about. And I think it's pretty savage to kill someone who only wants to live peacefully and wouldn't harm you anyway.

Are you serious ? You're charging ALL the french people in 2006 for something that happened like 60 years ago ? I'm 18 years old :whip: Anyway my opinion has not much to do with me being french. I was born in germany :o so please cut the crap.

So overall, you think your life if worth more than others' and you think violence against innocents is a good reply to violence. If you knew a little world history you would know that this way of thinking has never brought peace anywhere.

Violence is the only thing these people understand, stop being so damn ignorant. It might not bring peace, but it sure as hell will end this crap.

I love how the countries that arent involved in the war have the biggest opinions about how it should be run, yet they themselves dont have the balls to step in and try to mediate the situation.
all-nite-freak
mediate the situation?
lmao.
If there was no oil there the US would have been gone by the time someone was elected(Heck the US would have not fought anyone.)
I honestly dont care about this war.Its not my neighbours and friends dying and its not my country that is crippling itself financially spending on this useless venture while a significant portion of people past 12 cant even read.Who needs eduction when you have bombs.

Im going to get the argument that the US is maintaining world security or something. If it is their job to begin with, where the hell were thay when the people of Rwanda were getting slaughtered.
This war has nothing to do with protecting US citizens, only furthuring the wealth of a few of the country's elite at a great cost to everyone else.
Lepanto
yeah where was the rest of the world who can talk but can't do a thing during the Rwanda crisis? oh yeah the UN peacekeapers did a GREAT job

oh yeah and the US gave Iraq and ultimatum before they invaded ;)
all-nite-freak
im not saying the rest of the world did anything either.
If there was something of value in Rwanda the US would have sent the whole cavalry mark my words.

Okay Lepanto..i'll give you the benefit of the doubt. If you can explain EXACTLY why the Us is there....

Weapons of Mass Distruction:rolleyes:

you are right...technically burning fuel does destroy the environment en masse

Vlad your level of intelligence is receeding with your hairline.Assuming it was ever there to begin with.I have never seen such ridiculous defenses as the posts you posted in this thread.

Well shoot, this thread got long, and I havent even posted what I think. :p

To sum it up, I feel it was the biggest mistake the administration could have made to decided to "go to war" in the first place, nevermind the fact that they used 9/11 as an excuse to do so. Now that three years have passed and we see no end in sight, its even harder. Some people think that it is just as immoral to pick up and leave the situation as-is as it would be to continue with the war. Im not so sure I subscribe to that, though. In American interest, we need to get the hell out. I wish there was a way that it would be possible without the INCREDIBLE loss of Iraqi life, but I dont think there is... not to mention that we have already spent hundreds of billions of dollars on it.

I am so angry with the Bush Administration for getting us into this horrible mess, and I feel sorry for the administration that has to clean it up. I really am sick and tired of "America" right now, and you can call me as unpatriotic as youd like. Ill never support a country that goes to war for reasons that we did, even if it is my own.

I live for the day that Bush comes out and says "we made a mistake."
