I think this points out the real issue we're dealing with here.
The media, reporting the cruelties of terrorism on a dayly basis, forces governments to act more rapidly rather than on a long term basis. The way we fight terriosme today is wrong. We need, among other things, diplomacy and it is going to take a long, mothering time.
Today, governments are acting/(striving for) out of headlines in the newspapers rather than focusing the ressources on the real issue. |

Terrorism cannot be stopped,it has always been part of the human history.You can fight terrorism forever but just know that it wont end.
Invading countries wont help or stop it either.Look at the disaster in Iraq.We have created more terrorism there than anything else.
and yes Saddam was a bad leader:rolleyes: but at least he had control over his people.See some people have to realize that some countries caanot survive without dictatorship.Democracy isnt always the solution especially when it is forced upon by force. |
