First Israel needs to grow some balls and just do it. The only reason why there even is a Middle East is because America has been trying to keep Israel from making it a (complete) sandlot. |

it still blows my mind sometimes, how Bush got himself reelected when this country had an opportunity to correct the mistake they made 6 years ago...but im glad the media and public are starting to openly criticize the tier decisions this administration has made in serious situations...new orleans anyone?
anyway, i hope (but doubt) that we hear something about bringing troops home soon, considering i have friends in service who arent exactly adamant supporters of this "war"...

would john kerry have been any better? both canditates sucked ass. bush is radically conservative, kerry is radically liberal, more than he eluded to in the election.
kerry probably wouldn't have done about the issues america is facing. |

Uh, yea... All I remember seeing my entire life is America trying to be a peace mediator between Palestine, as well as the Middle East, and Israel.
BTW, the existance of Palestine in and of itself is a complete joke. |

i like to think there were WMDs in Iraq, its not secret saddam had programs for it...just...where are they...?
then the war would have been justified, rather than using the notion of "spreading democracy"
democracy doesnt work for everyone...bush needs to realize this. governing systems reflect the location of the state, related to other countries in its area, and the people who make up the state...
not everyone WANTS democracy. |

well if you think about it, palestinians have been there too, to simply kick them out...no wonder theirs so much fighting. id fight too if some other country told me to gfto and i had lived their all my life. |

Do we even know it works? The system itself is relatively new when compared to a large majority of the existing systems out there. Democracy has only been around for just over 200 years, it still has time to fail.

Trust me, no one is blinded by it...
Most of use are in favor of the war not because of Bush flapping his gums and making up new words during his speeches - the think most of the world has finally realized how savage these muslim fundamentalists are and the fact that they need to be relinquished of life ASAP before they spread any further like a virus throughout the rest of the world. |
