if you're trying to pick up a girl...
-DON'T check out/hit on other girls in front of her
-mention your job and how you have your together (and if u don't, just b.s., but not to the point where you're lying)
-DON'T lie...cuz if it goes longer than an evening, she's gonna find out and be po'd.
-use manners!!! (please, thank you, etc.), be chivalrious, it's sweet.
it really depends on how long you're looking to 'pick her up' for...like longterm or just for the night. i think the rules are pretty different for each.

what a load of crap...all girls like cocky guys. as you girls are all saying "be confident" well most of the time its cockiness and you just aren't registering it until a month goes by because you're too caught up in the "omg a cute guy is talking to me" hehehe :p |

well it's not a load of crap for me. if some guy is hitting on me no matter how hot he is and he's cocky and arrogant, i will pay him no mind. i have turned down cocky guys before....it's jsut not attractive. |

That should work !! In my opinion simply showing interest and being laid-back is the way. What's more ? Oh, I heard this method results instantly : ,, Riding in a bus you come closer and sit next to a nice girl and ask : ,,Could you tell me what is the time" then she answers and you look at your watch ( she doesn't know yet that you have a watch) :,,Sure it's (e.g.) 4 p.m. " " => so the conversation continues. Imagine how she is surprised when you say 'Right it is 4 pm'. A friend of mine checked this method and it does work !! |

girls are so naive about men when it comes to this. i'm not saying girls necessarily like being treated like (although i dunno i know a couple girls that make me wonder hehe), but there is a reason girls get screwed over a lot.
there is a fine line between confidence and cocky...and i'm just saying i think if the dude is cute...as long as he's not just saying something ridiculous like "i want to bang you and your sister" you're probably giving him a chance... |
